WHAT, HOW & WHEN OF A DATE

You got a date? Is it making you sweat? Well, a bit of sweat is just fine. It indicates you are taking it seriously. But you need to wipe it off. Calm down. It’s not so difficult after all. Well ofcourse there are a lot of things you are worried about ranging from what to wear, how to behave etc. But now that you are a MoneyQuin follower, we’ll sort everything. Let’s begin with dressing up:
What to Wear:
- Be simple. Don’t deck up. Don’t wear too much jewellery. Let it be earrings, a light necklace and few bangles if you can’t do without jewellery at all. Otherwise gorgeous and some lipstick with rags will still grab his attention.
- Smell: Put mild perfume in moderate dose. Don’t smell too strong.
- Don’t wear clothes that make you look overtly trendy and fashionable. Wear nice clothes all the same. Let the colours be bright and young but not too loud.
- Wear a colour correcting base if you tend get rosy or blush when you drink alcohol.
How to behave:
- Keep composed. Overtly talkative and unusually aggressive women don’t make for a good date.
- At the same time, you can suggest things to do. You don’t have to wait for the guy each time. If you know of a great place for drinks, you may suggest.
- Let your man pay. If he’s interested, he’s interested enough to ensure that you eat well and get home safe in a cab. But yes, take care of your own expenses. Don’t appear leaning on him.
- Always keep a guy waiting. Never be on time. It’s a lady’s prerogative.
- Never talk too much about your father so as to compare the guy with him.
- Keep dates short but interesting for your man. You don’t have to show the urgency to leave for some other work. Wind up just because it looks decent to do so.
How to make it interesting:
- Progressive Dinner: Rather sit throughout at one place, it would be better to have drinks at one place, main course at another and dessert elsewhere.
- Go to your college campus with your date. If you both are from the same college, it’ll be like going back to those chilled out days. If you are from a different college, you may show him around the campus.
- Drive-in movie: Get a bagful of romantic movies. This is the best movie date that can happen.
- Relax in the sand together over an afternoon. It’s a romantic setup.
- If you both enjoy music, go to a restaurant which may have some great live music playing.
Last and most important, remember that your first date shouldn’t essentially be a soup-to-sack. Don’t sleep with a guy unless he has fallen for you.
